SNK had plenty of announcements to share for its upcoming fighter Samurai Shodown with info for its Japanese release, a new trailer, and two new character reveals with Wu-Ruixiang and Yashamaru Kurama.
The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will launch first in Japan on June 27, 2019. It’ll go for 7,200 yen plus tax for physical and digital versions. The Season Pass featuring four DLC characters will be available for 2,000 yen plus tax, or as part of the Deluxe Pack that comes with the standard game plus Season Pass for 9,200 yen plus tax.
Early purchases of the standard and Deluxe Pack will come with a Retro 3D: Haohmaru DLC costume. The Deluxe Pack and Season Pass will also include a Retro 3D: Nakoruru DLC Costume.
There will also be an SNK Online Shop-exclusive limited edition version for 30,000 yen. It includes a NeoGeo ROM cassette-style case, a special art book, and original illustration by Yumi Saji.

Samurai Shodown releases for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Japan on June 27, 2019. It’ll release for arcades in Summer 2019, Switch and PC in Winter 2019.
