Yoshi’s Crafted World released worldwide on March 29 for the Nintendo Switch, and while it sold a cool 53,327 units for the Nintendo Switch in its debut, sales tracker Media Create had a little more to share.
According to Media Create, Yoshi’s Crafted World sold 53,327 units in its opening week in Japan. Its sell-through was at a low 35.96% but it managed to out-sell the debuts of other recent Yoshi games like Yoshi’s Woolly World that sold 31,158 units for Wii U in July 2015, or Poochi & Yoshi’s Woolly World which sold 39,555 units for 3DS in its debut in January 2017.
However, the Nintendo Switch hardware sold 50,367 units in the week, about 89.78% of what it sold the week prior, suggesting that Yoshi’s Crafted World didn’t do much to help in terms of hardware sales.
Yoshi’s Crafted World is available for the Nintendo Switch.
