Digimon fans have something to look forward to next month, as Bandai Namco says that “something big is happening” in the Digimon corner for the July issue of V-Jump, which releases in May. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]
It’s been a while since we heard much about any Digimon developments, including the adventure game Digimon Story that is expected to release in the West in 2019. Keep in mind that this is news regarding the Digimon series, not limited to video games, so it could end up being something for the new film coming in Spring 2020.
In any case, we’ll be keeping a close eye on all-things-Digimon around this time next month.
The last console game we’ve seen from the series was Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory which released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan in December 2017 and worldwide in January 2018.
