SNK announced this week that to commemorate the upcoming new Samurai Shodown game, they are releasing special translucent versions of the NEOGEO Mini based on Haohmaru, Nakoruru, and Ukyo Tachibana.

The special NEOGEO Minis are limited to 20,000 for each color, and they will have forty games included, including the Samurai Shodown series up to V Special. You could say that the collection is the main draw, alongside 34 other games from various SNK series.

The special NEOGEO Minis go for 15,000 yen each, and unlike the previous NEOGEO Minis, this one comes with two controllers each so that players don’t need to have one person using the controls on the machine itself. Otherwise, the NEOGEO Minis work the same way as the other ones.
The Samurai Shodown NEOGEO Minis are available for pre-order starting May 16, 2019 and release on June 27, 2019 in Japan.
