Capcom’s Skinship Otome Inprisoned Palm Will Head To The Nintendo Switch

Recommended Videos

One of Capcom’s more unorthodox mobile games is heading to the Nintendo Switch. An official website has been opened for a port of Imprisoned Palm, an otome game where players communicate with one of two men who is suffering from amnesia. Your goal is to work with them to recover what they have lost in the visual novel, occasionally touching your foreheads or hands together along the way.

There are two storylines in Imprisoned Palm, and the Nintendo Switch version gives people the main stories for both Aoi and Haruto. Originally, these were released bit by bit and were episodic, but everything is here at once. Haruto’s story was told first on mobile devices. He’s a young man being imprisoned on an island after an unexplained incident. You interact with him and help him work through what happened as he recovers his memory. Aoi’s story was the second one told, and it follows a young man who is accused of a crime. The two of you are on the island, as you were found at the scene and they want to determine if you were involved. You help him recover his memories as well.

The Nintendo Switch version of Imprisoned Palm will have a number of special features. For example, you can play horizontally or vertically. There will be Japanese voice acting, but you can choose from Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese text. Controller shortcuts are available. Touchscreen and traditional controls will be available. (This means you will have opportunities to press your forehead and hands to your Nintendo Switch.) You can also zoom in on artwork in TV mode.

In addition to the main story packs, the Nintendo Switch version of Imprisoned Palm will have Additional Content Packs that have extra meetings with Aoi and Haruto and dream app accessories. The base download version of the game will be 3,694 yen (~) and just give you that story. Additional packs will be 1,389 yen each. People can also buy a digital deluxe edition for 5,546 yen, which will include the main game and both packs, or a physical deluxe edition with the same content for 5,990 yen. If people go with a deluxe physical copy, they get the full game, both Additional Content Packs, chibi Aoi and Haruto acrylic stands, a 180mm x 140mm canvas and wood board with Aoi and Haruto art on it, and a polyester fabric wipe for the Nintendo Switch. There will also be a 15,000 yen limited edition that includes the game, its add-ons, a two-way purse, a soundtrack CD, 18cm Aoi and Haruto acrylic stands, a Haruto autograph card, and an Aoi message card. The 18,000 yen complete edition gives people everything in the collector’s and limited editions. (Capcom will also be selling double-sided body pillows of Aoi and Haruto for 25,000 yen each.)
