Idol Manager Mod Support Will Let People Add New Idols, Events, And Substories

People playing Idol Manager will now have a way to customize the game to their liking. Kuiper has added Idol Manager mod support. An official editor has been released for the beta version of the game, though this is only a preliminary build. People who download it will be able to add new idol portraits, events, and substories into the game.

With the release of the Idol Manager mod editor, Kuiper noted both on the Kickstarter page and community page that this is a basic version of the tool. The editor will eventually get more features, but working on the base game is the team’s priority at the moment. However, feature requests will be considered and feedback is welcome. Also, a guide to creating idol portrait, event, and substory mods was shared.

In addition, the latest Idol Manager update added some new features to the game. There is now a new story event that helps people find their footing in the early game with a brief boost. The fan system for idols has been reworked, so fans have opinions about them and follow specific members of a group. Four new events might be encountered. There have also been adjustments to the way people make singles and some minor adjustments and bug fixes.

Idol Manager is in development for the Nintendo Switch and PC. It is currently in beta on PCs, and people can access that build if they backed the Kickstarter or purchased it on itch.io.
