Super Smash Bros. Ultimate To Get New DLC Character Reveal At E3 Nintendo Direct

At the very end of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s E3 tournament, director Masahiro Sakurai appeared via pre-recorded video to congratulate Team Japan on their win, as well as announce that the second DLC fighter in the Fighter’s Pass will indeed be revealed at the E3 Nintendo Direct.

“It’s an incredible feat,” quipped Sakurai. “But I have to admit I do feel a little apologetic having caused so many people to spend so much time battling. On the other hand, watching people compete so seriously is very entertaining and seeing all the different things that can happen in this game is also very entertaining.”

“As for me, I’ll be continuing my work on the next DLC fighter and more information regarding that will be shared in the Nintendo Direct for E3 2019.”

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available on Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Direct will be broadcasted on Tuesday, June 11 at 9am PT.
