Sony Interactive Entertainment Releases A Teaser For Ape Escape Series’ 20th Anniversary

Recommended Videos

Earlier today, Sony Interactive Entertainment opened a new Twitter account for the Ape Escape series’ 20th anniversary. The first game came out on May 31, 1999, exactly 20 years ago.

The Twitter account currently only has one post, reading:

Pipo Monkey: (It’s been 20 years. I’ve been running away all this time. Are the people chasing after me already gone?)

While this can be taken as a teaser for a new game, it could just as well be a celebration via other means like a rerelease or a remaster. Siliconera will continue to monitor for any new developments.

Ape Escape originally released on the PlayStation.
