The very first Monster Rancher game released for the PlayStation in Japan back in July 1997, and Koei Tecmo announced that it is getting a brand-new port sometime this year.
No further information was shared but the new port will be released and available for download in 2019 for unannounced platforms.
Monster Rancher first released for PlayStation in Japan as Monster Farm in July 1997 followed by a North American release as Monster Rancher in November 1997.
