A Death Stranding appearance has been confirmed for gamescom 2019. In fact, it will appear ahead of the show. Hideo Kojima will appear at gamescom One Night Live. This is a preshow presentation that will be held at 8pm CEST/2pm ET/11am CT on August 19, 2019.

Kojima’s appearance was confirmed by Geoff Keighley, the gamescom One Night Live 2019 host on Twitter. Death Stranding will get an “exclusive new look” during the presentation. As a reminder, the last time such a look was offered was at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, where the box art and a new Heartman trailer were shown.
Death Stranding releases for PlayStation 4 on November 8, 2019. Gamescom 2019 will be held August 20-24, 2019.
