Sega appeared to have jumped the gun a little early with a tweet (now deleted) that revealed the title of the recently announced Yakuza 7 as Yakuza: Like a Dragon for the West. Fans of the series will likely catch the reference, but the title “Like a Dragon” is the English translation of the Japanese title of Yakuza, “Ryu ga Gotoku.” However, it’s also worth noting that they seemed to have removed the 7 from the title. The Japanese title is Ryu ga Gotoku 7: Hikari to Yami no Yukue which translates to Like a Dragon 7: Whereabouts of Light & Darkness. Yakuza: Like A Dragon releases for PlayStation 4 in Japan, Korea, and China on January 16, 2020. The game releases later in 2020 for North America and Europe.
