Yooka Laylee And The Impossible Lair Will Get Physical Copies And Preorder Tonics That Add N64 And Oversized Head Looks

The Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair release date leaked out a bit early, thanks to the Nintendo eShop, but its confirmation has revealed some other things people can look forward to in this upcoming platformer.  The console versions of the game will be getting physical copies. Also, people who preorder will get Trowzer’s Top Tonic Pack filled with new looks for Yooka and Laylee.

In Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, there will be 62 different tonics to choose from. These can change the look of the game and alter the game works. However, the Trowzer’s Top Tonic Pack will include four cosmetic tonics you can only get from preordering. D.I.S.C.O. Tonic adds colorful, flashing disco lights, Glow Worm Tonic makes both of the characters constantly glow, Largee Head Tonic makes Laylee’s head huge, and Yooka 64 makes it look more like a Nintendo 64 game.

Here’s a trailer showing what some of the Trowzer’s Top Tonic Pack looks and other different visual styles look like.

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 8, 2019.
