Sonic the Hedgehog is going to get to go fast in a new game. A crossover has slipped out for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD. As people play through the levels, they’ll be able to unlock Sonic as a playable character. It will also be possible to earn some costumes for characters.
Playing as Sonic in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD doesn’t just mean you’ll see him running around, having a ball. It will also change some elements of the game. Instead of collecting bananas, you’ll be grabbing golden rings. The sound effects will also match the ones from his game, rather than the ones you’d normally hear when playing as people like AiAi, GonGon, or MeeMee.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 29, 2019 in North America and Europe. It will debut in Japan on October 31, 2019.
