Koei Tecmo announced that the port of the original Monster Rancher will first arrive to smartphones in Japan later this month and the Switch version, also in Japan, in December.

The smartphone version will be available on iOS and Android, and the Switch version will be available through the Nintendo eShop. The port doesn’t add any new features but it introduces a new way to search for CD names for generating monsters as well as a Versus Mode that allows you to download and battle monsters raised other players.
Monster Rancher releases for iOS and Android in Japan on November 28, 2019, and for Nintendo Switch on December 19, 2019 for 1,960 yen.
