Devolver Digital and indie studio Roll7 will be bringing 2D cover-based shooter Not A Hero to PC on May 7th through Steam. It will also be heading to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita this year.

It has you playing as professional assassin Steve as he is sent out around the city’s three major districts to clean out its criminals. He has been assigned this mission by mayoral candidate BunnyLord – an anthropomorphic bunny from the future.

All this means is that you’ll be shooting, sliding, and diving behind cover to cause a lot of bloody mess. It’s ridiculous and over-the-top but also has some elements of tactical shooting (mostly, ensuring your head isn’t blown off). Getting rid of all the criminals in BunnyLord’s name should then mean that any undecided voters will be firmly on his side.

As well as Steve, there are other playable characters with their own crime fighting styles. There are also weaponized animals to make use of, such as suicide squirrels, dynamite doves, and kittens that blow themselves up with TNT.
