HoYoVerse shared some of the 3.4 Honkai: Star Rail updates we’ll see ahead of the update, noting a story dialogue skip option will appear and that Enhanced Mode versions of Blade, Jingliu, Kafka, and Silver Wolf will be enabled. More details about it will come up in the 3.4 Special Program at 4:30am PT/7:30am ET/1:30pm CET on June 20, 2025, which will also cover Phainon and the Fate/stay Night crossover.
In the case of the story skip option in Honkai: Star Rail, it will involve dialogue skipping and summaries about what would have been said. These two features work together to more quickly go over the campaign missions. Dialogue Skip will break things into paragraphs. Then, after that, a Story Summary will show the main characters who appeared and a brief paragraph explaining what happened. In 3.6, Story Recap will appear and let people see cutscenes from past Trailblaze Mission, Trailblaze Continuance, and Companion Mission quests.
HoYoVerse shared two images teasing the button in a story segment that can be pressed to skip and showing what a Story Summary looks like.
As for the Honkai: Star Rail Blade, Jingliu, Kafka, and Silver Wolf character enhancements, HoYoVerse will share the enhanced mode options for each one. People who own those units will then be able to choose which version they actually use in-game. This affects their movesets, traces, and Eidolons. Only Silver Wolf’s changes were mentioned in the announcement, however. Her Skill will make the first character in your lineup, which say could be your DPS, be the one whose weakness is implanted with Allow Changes. Her User Banned Ultimate would deal damage and lower the defense of every enemy, rather than just one.
Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 3.4 Special Program will air at 4:30am PT/7:30am ET/1:30pm CET on June 20, 2025.
