There will be three anime series crossovers coming to Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, with all three appearing within the next two months. However, only two of them are known. Shangri-La Frontier and Fairy Tail are both confirmed. The third is a mystery. We also don’t know what any of these tie-in events will entail.
The first event will be based on Shangri-La Frontier. That will show up on March 19, 2026. While that is coming soon, the official social media announcement didn’t offer any insights into how The Wolfgang Clan will be represented. We don’t know if this means folks like Sunraku and Oicazzo will show up, or if there will only be cosmetics based on them available to obtain.
The other two events are set to debut in May 2026. Neither one has a release date. However, since it is the one of the two revealed, it seems like Fairy Tail could show up first in the game. The mystery anime series will be around that month as well.
As a reminder, this is a different game than Bandai Namco’s Blue Protocol MMORPG of the same name. However, it is based on that release.
Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is available on the PC and Android and iOS devices, and we’ll see the first of three anime crossovers appear when Shangri-La Frontier heads to the game on March 19, 2026.
