5.6 Genshin Impact Update Features Windblume Festival, Fontaine Amusement Park

The Genshin Impact Special Program confirmed what the teaser suspected, which is that the Windblume Festival will return in 5.6. However, it won’t be as separate event, as that part will involve Fontaine. Rather, that Archon Quest involves Albedo and the Traveler facing new challenges.

As for the banners, it’s primarily filled with reruns, though Escoffier is a new five-star in this update. The first part of the update, which starts on May 7, 2025, features that new character and a rerun of the five-star Navia. The new four-star unit Ifa will join as a focus character on their banners, then appear permanently in the pool of options. The second phase of the update will feature Kinich and Raiden Shogun reruns. There will also be a Chronicled Wish banner that lets you set Ayaka, Ayato, Chiori, Itto, Kazuha, Kokomi, Yae Miko, or Yoimiya as your designated five-star.

Here’s the trailer for the Genshin Impact 5.6 Paralogism update. It begins with the Windblume Festival of the year for the new story quests and confirms a big part of it will involve Fontaine and its Chevalmarin Film event and amusement park. Furina’s appearance is teased for that Fontaine portion. A cooking competition that includes Escoffier also comes up. Kinich and Wriosthesley will also appear.
