6.0 Genshin Impact Special Program Airs This Week

We are finally about to make our way to Snezhnaya in Genshin Impact, heading there via Nod-Krai, and the Genshin Impact Special Program introducing that path forward and the 6.0 update airs on August 29, 2025. It will air on Twitch and YouTube at 5am PT/8am ET/2pm CET. The update itself is expected to launch on September 10, 2025.

We know a lot about what to expect from the 6.0 Genshin Impact Special Program, thanks to lots of teasers about new characters and the Nod-Krai region. Aino, Flins, and Lauma will be the new playable units. We don’t know which ones are the five-stars and who is the four-star. Aino is tied to Ineffa and made her. Flins also starred in the title’s gamescom 2025 trailer. While Nod-Krai itself is connected to Snezhnaya, it doesn’t fall under the Tsaritsa. It also consists of a number of notable places we’ll get to visit, including a town. The teaser image for the showcase highlighted other upcoming playable characters and notable figures, including the Fatui member Sandrone (Marionette). 

As a reminder, the 5.8 update arrived on July 30, 2025. That added Ineffa as its sole new character, wrapped up Natlan activities, added outfits for Bennet and Yelan, and teased Lauma and Nod-Krai. After that, we started to see 

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices, and the Special Program for 6.0 airs on August 29, 2025.
