We’re on the verge of learning more about Final Fantasy XIV, as a Letter from the Producer Live LXXVII with 6.4 details is about to appear. It will be held at 4am PT/7am ET/12pm CET on May 12, 2023. Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida will show up to discuss the next update. However, note that there will be no translator present. It will be in Japanese, with slides in both Japanese and English with details about the update. People will be able to watch it on Niconico, Twitch, and YouTube as usual.
This is a presentation focused almost entirely on the 6.4 patch. The announcement noted it will look at the second part of it. However, other updates will come up. As a reminder, the first Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer going over patch 6.4 also discussed some of the Fan Festival merchandise ahead of pre-orders for the items appearing in the Square Enix Online Store. It did cover some updates as well, though, like Blue Mage Job details. and Golbez’s appearance.
One guaranteed bit of information that will come out of the Final Fantasy XIV is the release date for patch 6.4. It’s expected to launch in late May 2023.
Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC, and Letter from the Producer Live LXXVII will air on May 12, 2023 at 4am PT/7am ET/12pm CET.
