A PC game as popular as Palworld is bound to attract mods, and it’s even more likely to attract a few crossover mods too. There’s already a Digimon mod out there, but there are plenty of other games, anime and other franchises represented through fan creations.
More Honkai: Star Rail Characters
While we’ve previously covered the inclusion of Topaz from Honkai: Star Rail, she isn’t the only character from HoYoVerse’s game to be added to Palworld. HirohikoHoshino, the creator of that mod, has also been busy adding Clara and upcoming addition Sparkle too.
Even Honkai: Star Rail’s mascot has found his way into the game, thanks to a mod from Loliice. This mod replaces Cattiva with the conductor of the Astral Express, Pom-Pom.
Genshin Impact Characters
Honkai: Star Rail isn’t the only HoYoVerse game to feature in Palworld mods. Genshin Impact is also featured, with player character replacements for Furina and The Wanderer. Both mods were made by skymoon0.
Loliice also turned to Genshin Impact’s mascot as a Pal replacement too. This mod replaces Daedream with Paimon.
Replace Foxparks with Spyro the Dragon
One of the more impressive Pal replacements is the Spyro mod by InfinateXtremer. This mod takes the fire fox Pal Foxparks and replaces it with the star of classic 3D platformer Spyro the Dragon. Using the model from the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, it’s an appropriate replacement due to the flame breath attacks shared between both characters.
Infinate Xtremer has also stated they’re working on adding in sound effects from the original games too, enhancing the creation.
Replace Lunaris with Hatsune Miku
The floating humanoid Pal Lunaris features two ear-like protrusions from the back of its head. Clearly this inspired XaosKitsune to turn those ears into the iconic twin pigtails of Hatsune Miku. So if you’d like an army of Vocaloids building equipment in your base, this is what you’re looking for. There are two versions of the mod, with the second version featuring new facial animations.
Turn Pals into Tiny Gokus
While most of the Pal replacement mods have been logical replacements, others are much sillier. The Gokuworld mod from VanturaVT replaces a variety of Pals with tiny versions of Dragon Ball protagonist Goku. Currently the mod features different varieties of Goku to replace Tanzee, Cattiva, Daedream, Sparkit and Fuack. The creator says they may add more variations over time.
Become Bruce Lee
Moving out of the realm of anime and video games, mod creator Honxige chose a different style of crossover. This mod allows you to replace the player character with martial arts legend Bruce Lee. The face is an impressive rendering of Lee as a Palworld character and features him wearing his iconic black tai chi outfit as seen in Fist of Fury.
Alternate Final Fantasy and The Witcher Hairstyles
Mod creator norskpl has been working on adding additional hairstyles to Palworld through mods, with a few crossover options already released. These include Ciri from The Witcher series, along with Tifa’s hairstyle from Final Fantasy VII. The Tifa mod is still an early version, however, as the creator states it is still buggy.
Palworld is out now in Early Access for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
