In 2015, Sony began a new E3 tradition. It would have its press conference broadcasted in theaters, with people across North America able to get a free ticket and watch the press conference with other fans. The tradition will continue this year, with 85 theaters in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America showing the presser. Sony’s E3 2017 presser will be held at 6pm PT/8pm CT/9pm ET on June 12, 2017.
Free tickets for the American and Canada showings can be claimed beginning at 10am PT/12am CT/1pm ET on May 30, 2017 from the official website. The PlayStation Blog has a list of participating theaters. People may want to make a free Gofobo account ahead of time, to make the registration process quicker. Sony has yet to offer information on when people can get tickets for showings in Brazil.
Some of the PlayStation E3 Experience promotional items have been revealed. PlayStation Collectable Card #75 and a poster will be given away to every attendee. People will also get PlayStation Store codes for as-yet-unrevealed digital items.
E3 2017 will run June 13-15, 2017.
