The physical soundtrack album will be available in two versions. The regular edition will come with seven CDs with a tax-inclusive price tag of ÂĄ7,480 (~$50.65) in Japan. There will also be a Special Edit Version that adds a bonus disc containing tracks from the mini-games. Square Enix will only release the latter in limited numbers at first print for ÂĄ8,800 (~$59.60). People who purchase the soundtrack early will also be able to obtain a bonus memo pad.

Pre-orders for the soundtrack are immediately available on the Japanese Square Enix e-Store and other Japanese online music stores. The English webpage also indicates that Square Enix will also open pre-orders on its North American and European online stores. However, the actual soundtrack has still yet to appear on either storefront as of January 26, 2024. What’s available instead is a two-sided vinyl—containing fewer tracks than the full soundtrack—that Square Enix will release in February 2024 at $44.99 / €47.99.

The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Original Soundtrack will be released on April 10, 2024. The second game in the Final Fantasy VII remake project will be available worldwide for PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024.
