Namco Bandai opened a teaser site for the game, which doesn’t reveal much about it. Magazine leaks from this week explain players control an original protagonist living on Southern Cross isle. Star Driver goes beyond the anime series by letting players pick which direction the story goes.
Star Driver has a close contact mode when you talk to the girls. The game stretches characters out by displaying them in vertical ("tate") mode. It’s possible to kiss the girls during these scenes and players use the analog stick to point and kiss. Star Driver also has a battle command system, but details about that have not been released.
Star Driver: Takuto’s Radiance Legend of the Most Handsome Boy in the Galaxy is slated for a spring release in Japan.
