CAG Osaka released a new gameplay video showcasing a real match of Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact. Three professional gamers—Fenritti, GO1, and Eita—played it.

This is only the first part of the Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact gameplay showcase. It’s unknown if the second video will feature more of the same fighters or if we’ll see new playable characters. So far, we know that you’ll be able to play as Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio, Hisoka, and Netero.

You can check out the video here:

In terms of the genre of fighting game, it’ll be 3v3 in a 2D arena. The preview video shows off how you can use the characters’ signature moves, as well as call in your teammates to aid you. It also shows the gamers enjoying their time playing and figuring out how to use their characters or combos. Though this seems to be the first time they’re playing the game, they are able to chain together attacks after only a bit of practice. Time will tell if this is because the game is easy to pick up or if this is because they’re professional gamers.

Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact is a fighting game based on the highly popular anime and manga series, Hunter x Hunter. Bushiroad stated earlier this month that a demo build of the game will be at EVO Japan 2024 and KSG2024. That version will feature the exact same six characters in this video.

Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact will come out on for the PS5, Windows PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch.
