When the July 2025 Fields of Mistria update launches, it will add the option to choose between friendship or romance with the bachelors and bachelorettes that are love interests at this time. To help explain how that goes, NPC Studio shared a trailer of that type of decision. It highlighted a player character making that choice when talking with Celine.
The Fields of Mistria friendship and romance decision trailer showed a moment that took place at The Summit, and it seemed like the player met with Celine during an event there. She started to bring up her feelings for the farmer. It is then that two dialogue options came up. One clearly said, “You’re my best friend too, Celine.” That text box appeared in blue. The one that would kick off a relationship with the love interest was pink and featured a heart in the upper right corner to help differentiate between the two decisions at a glance. Its text read, “I have feelings for you too, Celine.” We see the person playing for the video selected the second option. However, the trailer cut off then, so we won’t know what Celine’s response would be until after the patch appears.
