Smart Falcon is now permanently part of the Umamusume: Pretty Derby roster, with her focus banner live until August 22, 2025. To help better illustrate who she is and what she’s like, Cygames shared two trailers. One is a more extensive video showing her in different situations, while the other is a brief YouTube Short.
First, here’s the YouTube Short for Smart Falcon. It is a brief clip of the snippet we see if we manage to summon her on her focus banner. (It will also display on ensuing banners when she is pulled as well.)
The other video is the more extended Tracen Academy Student Introduction Umamusume: Pretty Derby trailer that gives us a chance to hear Smart Falcon’s Japanese voice actress and see some gameplay clips. We see her running, doing Guts training, and part of the clip from when her Unique Skill Sparkly Stardom triggers.
Hitomi Owada voices Smart Falcon, and she might sound familiar. She’s the voice of Klaudia Valentz in the Atelier Ryza games and anime adaptation. She’s also the Japanese voice actress for Nia in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and 3. She also plays Koyori Tanemura in the Wataten anime
The next new Trainee to join Umamusume: Pretty Derby is Narita Brian. She debuts on August 20, 2025.
