The whole project will eventually cover all 26 episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion. As the first entry, Cross Reflections will focus on the first 11 episodes of the original 1995 Evangelion TV anime.

This XR game, which combines VR (Virtual Reality) and MR (Mixed Reality) features, will place the player as the protagonist who aspires to become an Evangelion pilot. They will be able to interact with characters from the original show. In addition to the anime’s main storyline, this XR game will also have more story episodes with brand-new original characters.

In the Japanese press release, the development team promised that Neon Genesis Evangelion fans will feel like they are actually involved in the anime’s events, while those who are new to the show can also access it as an entry point to the series. Pixelity will also open an official social media account to publish more details about this XR game.

The special demo version of Evangelion: Δ – Cross Reflections will be available sometime in the first half of 2026.
