Taito and Konami announced that one of the next pieces of Death Stranding 2 merchandise will be a light shaped like the thumbs up “Like” sign from the game that also plays the matching sound effect. It will show up in arcades in Japan in late November 2025. There’s no video online yet that shows exactly how it looks and sounds. We also don’t know if it will eventually be available worldwide.

The Death Stranding 2 Sound Sensor Light features a white and blue clear panel that looks like the thumbs up Like symbol used throughout the game attached to a black base. The game’s logo appears on the top of the base in white. It stands at about five and a half inches tall (14cm). There is a sensor on the front. If triggered, it will light up and make the sound effect in-game that is made when we make Sam Porter Bridges like someone’s item or sign placed in the world.

Here’s the example photo of it:

It isn’t uncommon for Taito to release sound sensor light merchandise tied to games like Death Stranding 2. It happened with Monster Hunter Wilds this year too. There was a Quest Cleared sensor light that included sound effects from the game. That appeared in August 2025

Death Stranding 2 is available for the PS5 worldwide, and Japanese arcades will feature the Like Sound Sensor Light as a prize starting in late November 2025.
