Editor’s Note: There will be some spoilers for Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier in the FFVII Ever Crisis article and trailer below.

While we have an idea of what’s happened to Glenn, Lucia, and Matt in the series due to FFVII Rebirth, this latest trailer shows how we get there. After the events on the La’paina and Sijad islands with Rosen and Sephiroth and actions Shinra ordered the trio to take, the three decided to fight back against the company. This new trailer begins with that, showing him speaking to a group of rebels. There are also cutscenes showing Glenn being brought to Rufus Shinra and the trio spying on Sephiroth. There’s also a teaser for a new boss fight.

Here’s the full English trailer, which is only available on social media at the moment.

While we wait for that, there is a new Vincent gear banner live in FFVII Ever Crisis. Until October 29, 2025, people can pull for his Galian Roar gun and try and get his Galian Beast Mantle costume. Here’s the trailer showing the equipment off.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is available on PCs and mobile devices, and the FFVII The First Soldier story starts to end on October 1, 2025.
