Taito and Kojima Productions announced that, ahead of the 2025 holiday season, there will be Death Stranding 2 BB Pod snow globes released in Japan. These will be prizes in Japanese arcades, so we don’t know possible prices yet. This also means we don’t know if or when they’ll appear worldwide. We do know it’ll launch in November 2025.

Editor’s Note: There will be spoilers for Death Stranding and the BB Pod  in the article below.

As Death Stranding 2 begins, we see Sam Porter Bridges living with his daughter Lou, who formerly was the baby in the BB Pod in the first game. As a result, her former “home” is turned into a Cryptobiote habitat. This is recreated for these two snow globe options. Each one has three variants shown inside of it in the photos. In addition to the Cryptobiote, it looks like they have a Chlorobiote and Chronobyote in there too. While the outsides of the pods are identical, one has darker colored water in it than the other.  Both are relatively small and stand at just over three inches (8cm) tall.

Here’s the official photo of them:

Taito worked with Kojima Productions on quite a few different types of merchandise. One of the most recent announcements is a sensor light that looks like the thumbs up Like sign from the game that also plays the sound effect when triggered. There was also a Dollman charm that played voiced lines from the game.

Death Stranding 2 is available for the PS5, and the BB Pod snow globes will show up in Japanese arcades at the beginning of November 2025.
