Things start to really open up once you meet Emma with Taunie/Urbain in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, since you gain access to spots on the map aside from Wild Zones or event spaces that unlock later, but the Boutique Couture clothing store will taunt you. It will be right there with the other stores on Vernal Avenue in Vert Sector, but the owner will deny you entry. There’s a really easy way to get in, but it involves being patient.
How do I unlock and shop at the Boutique Couture clothing store in Pokemon Legends: Z-A?
You need to wait until “Main Mission 26: An Invitation from the SBC” comes up in Pokemon Legends: Z-A to gain easy access to Boutique Couture. This is because you’re invited to join Jacinthe’s Lumiose Society of Battle Connoisseurs for a tournament, and there’s a concern that you aren’t dressed nicely enough for the event at Hotel Richissime.
At this point, you’ll be directed to head to Boutique Couture with Taunie/Urbain and Naveen. Its owner Asami is now willing to talk to you and give you a free outfit for the event. However, you need to fight her Florges and defeat it when your Pokemon is Mega Evolved. That Florges is at level 50. As long as you have a Pokemon that has a strong Metal-type attack, such as Lucario with Metal Claw, you’ll be fine.

In addition to getting that free outfit and ability to continue in Main Mission 26, you now have permanent access to Boutique Couture and unlock the store in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. It sells a Blazer & Shirt Set, Blazer & Blouse Set, Chino Pants Set, Trench Coat & Pants Set, Boater Hat, Leather Gloves, Plaid Quarter Socks, Plaid Knee-High Socks, Opera Shoes, and Mid-Calf Boots. Basically, its stock includes very formal and high-end looking suits and accessories.
