Bandai Namco announced that a plush replica of the PS2 will appear in Japanese arcades, and the cushion will be larger than Sony’s actual PlayStation console. People will start seeing the item as a Banpresto Crane Game prize starting on November 7, 2025. So far, Big Bad Toy Store is the only retailer shipping outside Japan showing the item as the “PlayStation 2 Super Big Plush.” It is selling it for $29.99 and shipping it in December 2025.
The announcement confirmed this PS2 replica plush is 42cm long (~16.5 inches), and that original PlayStation console is about 30cm long (~12 inches). Printed fabric is used for this cushion to capture details from the system. So on the top is the PS2 PlayStation 2 logo. The bottom side has the feet for if someone displayed it vertically. Along the sides are a printed disc tray, memory card slots, controller ports, and power and eject buttons. The initial photos didn’t show what the front and back look like.
Here’s the initial photo from Bandai Namco:

We saw Bandai Namco honor the PS2 in a similar sorts of ways earlier in 2025. In August 2025, the company confirmed its Gashapon capsule machines will feature keychains that are replicas of PS1 and PS2 game boxes. Then in September 2025, it shared keychains based on those two Sony PlayStation consoles and their controllers and memory cards. Of course, it also released a similar PS1 plush in crane games in October 2025.
The PS2 plush will appear as a Banpresto Crane Game prize in Japan starting on November 7, 2025, and Big Bad Toy Store will sell it worldwide as the PlayStation 2 Super Big Plush.
