As the Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road “first 30 minutes” gameplay video kicks off as Story Mode begins, there are no spoilers. We start as the first chapter, titled “You Still Have Football” opens. Destin Billows transferred in to South Cirrus Junior High. As the kid takes his first steps, he sees a glowing football (soccer ball). Kicking it, and ones like it, gives him things like “Dream” and “Love.” He also walks past certain NPCs like Thierry, before running into some quest NPCs to acquire “information” for investigations. He learns the school is known for his baseball team and track club. He then learns from another kid that there’s no football club. He also hears a rumor about “problem child” Briar Bloomhurst.

We then get to see one of the MAPPA animation sequences available during the campaign. Destin summarizes what we learned. But we find out he feels the school is “perfect for him” since there’s no football club. Given this is Inazuma Eleven, that likely won’t stay that way. Because once he goes through the rock-paper-scissors style basic story battle against members of the bodybuilding club, we see his life start to change.
