Square Enix announced it is bringing a version of the Kam’lanaut event back to Final Fantasy XI, and this is apparently the “third and final” time The “Real” Archduke of Jeuno, Back in the Spotlight Yet Again will be available in FFXI. It starts tomorrow on November 18, 2025, then will end on December 9, 2025. This will also be the first time we can trade to get the Archduke’s Shield.
Since this is a returning event, none of the entry requirements or basic protocol changed. You need to be at level 95, have finished “Return to Delkfutt’s Tower,” and gotten a Stellar Fulcrum Phantom Gem from Mimble-Pimble in Port Windurst (L-5), Raving Opossum from Port Bastok (J-11), or Trisvain from Northern San d’Oria (J-7). If you do, you can head to the Delkfutt’s Field battlefield with up to six people for “Return to Delkfutt’s Tower” to face Kam’lanaut in FFXI. Beating that fight could net you Jeuno Tunes, Kam’lanaut’s Shield, and Kam’lanaut’s Sword as rewards. Very Easy, Easy, and Normal difficulties are available initially, but you can unlock Difficult and Very Difficult versions of the fight by beating the Normal encounter.
As for the rewards, the Curator Moogles will be at Chateau d’Oraguille (H-9), Heaven’s Tower (Clerical Chamber), and Metalworks (J-8). They will feature three things you can trade for. These are the new Archduke’s Shield with Refresh +1 and the Archduke’s Crystal Board and Archduke’s Sword from earlier in 2025.

It typically appears once each year, though 2025 was an exception as it appeared in September 2025, October 2025, and now November 2025.
Final Fantasy XI is available for the PC, and The “Real” Archduke of Jeuno, Back in the Spotlight Yet Again will be available in FFXI between November 18, 2025 and December 9, 2025. November 2025 also marks the first time new login campaign changes appeared in the game.
