When the announcement about Rage against the Machine and Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello contributing a song to FFXIV came up during the presentation, Yoshida and Murouchi shared a pre-recorded video from the musician. Morello noted Jason Charles Miller, who worked on many tracks from the MMORPG like “To the Edge,” told him composer Masayoshi Soken was a fan. This led to the the song “Everything Burns.” That was recorded and created with Beartooth for the game.

You can see the full FFXIV Letter from the Producer Live XC below. When they talk about The Arcadion: Heavyweight Tier later in the presentation, they actually show some of the Xak Tural AAC Heavyweight M2. There is also the segment with Tom Morello talking about the track and sharing a sample of it.
