Bandai Namco announced the new Digimon Beatbreak anime is now referenced in Digimon Story: Time Stranger. This means we can get a shirt for our avatar that is a replica of the one Tomoro Tenma wears in the show and see references to that series in-game. The company also noted it is aware of an issue on PCs tied to Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 1: Alternate Dimension that causes crashing.
In the case of both the Beatbreak cosmetic and new in-game advertisement in Digimon Story: Time Stranger, both show up after the patch. Someone will need to go to the in-game shop to get the shirt, which shows a wavy green line on the front and Gekkomon clinging onto the back. In the case of the video showing clips from the show, you can only see those when in the “modern day” time period of the game and in certain parts of the city. So to watch those, you’d need to pop by Akihabara or Shinjuku in Tokyo.
Here are the official screenshots of the update.

Karn EX shared a video clip on social media that highlighted the location in-game and shirt.
As for the PC DLC issue, there’s no fix available for it yet. Bandai Namco is aware of the problem. It did suggest restarting the PC.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger is available on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and its Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 1: Alternate Dimension DLC is out now. Digimon Beatbreak is streaming on Crunchyroll.
