Midnight Jazz: Final Fantasy IX Songs and Music Videos Shared

Square Enix shared more details about the Midnight Jazz: Final Fantasy IX album, which included a full reveal of the 13 songs in the tracklist and three short music video samples. We can hear examples of the new takes on “Eternal Harvest,” “Messenger of Destruction,” and “Tantarian’s Theme” right now. The full CD comes to Japan on February 11, 2026, and the $39.99 disc appears in other regions in March 2026. This is all part of the 25th anniversary celebration that included tons of merchandise like the book Final Fantasy IX Picture Book: Vivi and Grandpa’s Memories for the Sky.

First, here is the full list of songs that will be on the Midnight Jazz: Final Fantasy IX album, complete with information about who’s handling each arrangement of the Nobuo Uematsu tracks and the names of the vocalists when applicable. While no exact order was listed yet, as that is “subject to change,” they are listed below in the order in which they appeared on the official site.

  • “A Place to Call Home” – arrangement by Shun Katayama, and vocals by Julia Shortreed.
  • “The Darkness of Eternity” – arrangement by Yuma Yamaguchi and vocals by Lanux.
  • “Over the Hill” – arrangement by Shun Katayama and vocals by Toaka.
  • “Tantalus’ Theme” – arrangement by Shun Katayama.
  • “Not Alone” – arrangement by Tomoaki Baba.
  • “Roses of May” – arrangement by Atsuki Yoshida and vocals by Kanayo.
  • “Eternal Harvest” – arrangement by Yuya Wakai and vocals by Mimiko.
  • “Festival of the Hunt” – arrangement by Yuya Wakai and vocals by Ebuki Takai.
  • “The Final Battle” – arrangement by Fuki Kitamura.
  • “Kuja’s Theme” – arrangement by Shin Fujii and vocals by Candela.
  • “Court Jesters” – arrangement and vocals by Ohzora Kimishima.
  • “Melodies of Life” – arrangement by Big Yuki and vocals by Gretchen Parlato.

Midnight Jazz: Final Fantasy IX will come to Japan on February 11, 2026 and show up worldwide in March 2026, and the game is available on the PS1, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices.
