Over 30 kinds of fish and marine creatures that appeared in New Horizons will have explanation panels featuring Animal Crossing characters during this event. But while people can view the exhibits with just the paid entry tickets, there will be additional activities available with extra charges.

People can pay ¥300 (~$1.90) to get a quiz sheet featuring marine creatures that appear in New Horizons. They will then be tasked to correctly guess the creature that does not appear in the aquarium to win an Animal Crossing sticker. The aquarium will also have a workshop for producing a wreath made of shells, and people can join by paying ¥1,500 (~$9.50).

The aquarium will also sell a collection of merchandise themed after Animal Crossing. The items will range from clear files at ¥300 (~$1.90) to T-shirts at ¥4,200 (~$26.60).

People who have the Nintendo Store mobile app installed can use the GPS Check-In feature at the aquarium for the event’s duration to obtain an exclusive wallpaper image.

In addition, Sea Life Nagoya Aquarium has shared codes that let players of Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 access the uniform items used by its staff members:

  • Sea Life Cap – MO-0XQ7-QN4B-0986
  • Sea Life Jacket – MO-Q3QG-PNSN-K97M
  • Sea Life Polo Shirt – MO-537G-PVF6-YGF6
