Bandai Namco announced its Gashapon capsule machines will offer a line of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach keychains that look like the cryptobiotes, Transporter Boots, and cargo containers found in the PS5 game. These are immediately available to pre-order via Gashapon Online ahead of their appearance in actual capsule machines in Japan, and they are expected to ship at the end of May 2026. Each try will cost 400円 (~$2.60).

There are six types of keychains, and none of them are considered “rare.” Each one features an item and a ball chain keychain. The two types of cargo containers, which are gold and silver and feature damage sensor tape around them, are the smallest at about two centimeters tall. The three cryptobiote variants are the largest at about three centimeters. The options there are the standard cryptobiote, which is available in pink and red, and the electrobiote variant. The pair of Transporter Boots is just over two centimeters.

While we haven’t seen Death Stranding 2 merchandise show up in gachapon machines before, there have been a number of prize items released in Japan since the game’s debut. People could get a talking Dollman keychain, a plush of Tarman’s cat-like chiral creature, and BB pod snow globes.

Death Stranding 2 is available for the PS5, and the Gashapon keychains of boots, cryptobiotes, and cargo containers are available to pre-order in Japan on Gashapon Online ahead of their capsule machine debut.
