RGG Studio announced on social media that the company plans to release a day 1 patch to address graphics quality issues in Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties. The 1.11 update is designed based on feedback and other fixes. There will also be “other fixes” present, though the developer didn’t offer exact details explaining what the other adjustments might entail.
As part of the message, RGG Studio said the Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties demo quality is different from the full game and the graphics are at a different state. It also noted that there will be further updates though in order to ensure it meets expectations. One situation confirmed to be rectified involves the Downtown Ryukyu area for Kazuma Kiryu’s storyline, and the developer acknowledged areas alongside the Kubochi River that people reported will be addressed with lighting improvements.
The Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties demo is immediately available on various platforms. However, it involves isolated slices of both Kazuma Kiryu and Yoshitaka Mine’s storylines. This means you can’t carry over your progress to the final game.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties will come to the Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on February 12, 2026, and the day one graphics patch will appear at launch.
