A new Silent Hill game, not the remake of the first one, is in development at Konami. This is confirmed in the Japanese and English Consolidated Financial Results for the Nine Months Ended December 31, 2025 report. This seems to be in addition to Silent Hill Townfall, which Konami also talked about. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
The pertinent information appears on the eighth page of the document in Japanese and ninth page in English. The company stated, “As a continuation of our ongoing efforts, we are currently developing a brand-new title in the Silent Hill series, as well as a remake of the first installment, Silent Hill.” Konami already revealed the first game’s remake in June 2025. Bloober Team, which made the widely successful remake of Silent Hill 2, is working on this as well.
Konami revealed Silent Hill: Townfall in 2022. Though the Annapurna resignations in 2024 worried fans that this additional installment would never come out, we received confirmation that same year that it will. However, there has not been concrete information on the game since then. Townfall still does not have a release window, and Konami also has not yet announced what platforms the game will appear on. If this “entry” is nothing more than Townfall, we at least know that Konami is still actively working on that game with Annapurna.
The most recent release in the long-running horror franchise was Silent Hill f, which takes place in Japan, rather than the titular town in the United States. Silent Hill f is readily available on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.
