The B5-sized book will contain 176 full-colored pages containing hundreds of concept art pieces and over 100,000 letters of text. It will be available on April 2, 2026, with a tax-inclusive price tag of 3,520 yen (~$22.60). A digital release of the book will also appear on the same day.

In addition to an interview article with Hideki Kamiya, this book will contain commentaries on the concept art and development notes on the games Kamiya had been directly involved in during his tenures at Capcom and PlatinumGames.

The Japanese press release includes specific notes that this book will cover the following titles:

  • Resident Evil 2
  • Devil May Cry
  • Viewtiful Joe
  • Okami
  • Bayonetta series (including Bayonetta Origins)
  • The Wonderful 101
  • Sol Cresta

After leaving PlatinumGames in October 2023, Hideki Kamiya had to wait for a whole year until he could return to the game development scene by joining Clovers Inc in October 2024. As of early 2026, he is working with Capcom to produce a brand-new sequel to Okami.

Hideki Kamiya’s World: All Works in Game Design to Produce “Pleasant Feelings” will be available in Japan in physical and digital formats on April 2, 2026.
