During the February 2026 State of Play and following Konami broadcast, we got a first look at Silent Hill: Townfall cinematics and gameplay footage. The Screen Burn and Annapurna game will debut in 2026. We’ll see it on the PS5 and PC. This will also mark a first-person Silent Hill game that uses that perspective to let us experience the horror of it all firsthand.
Like Silent Hill f, we aren’t in the town in the game’s title for this adventure. Our new hero Simon Ordell instead finds himself on St. Amelia Island in Scotland. He isn’t exactly sure what’s going on. However, the handheld CRTV he can use to check and listen to for threats seems to also share broadcasts of important moments and insights from his past. One in the trailer featured a woman speaking to him and saying neither of them can “stay in this room forever” and that he has to “come back” to her. He’s seen on the dock and explained he “woke up in the water again.” He then walks through a town filled with fog, while realizing he has a wristband from a hospital on one wrist and an IV in his other arm.

As for the Silent Hill Transmission, it focused on the choice to make Silent Hill: Townfall a first-person game and how the perspective and idea of not being able to see everything was used to enhance horror and tension. They also talked about instead of the radio to suggest where enemies were, they went with a handheld TV to look at it, look at frequencies, and use it to learn about what’s going on.
Silent Hill: Townfall will come to the PS5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store in 2026.
