February 27, 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the original Pokemon Red and Green games’ debut in Japan, and the Pokemon Presents stream involved a number of reveals tied games and other projects. We knew Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen would debut on the Switch and Switch 2 today, as an example, but there’s more to the celebrations than that. To help better understand what to expect from the next few months and year, here’s a full roundup of the presentation.
To make things easier to digest, here’s a list of every reveal that came up in the Pokemon Presents as it happened. As a reminder, the Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen games show up on the eShop later today, and Pokemon Pokopia debuts on the Switch 2 on March 5, 2026.
- Game Music Collection: A small Game Boy with 45 songs on cartridges.
- 2026 Pokemon World Championships and Pokemon XP fan event will involve Pokemon Champions, Pokemon Go, Pokemon Unite, and Pokemon TCG at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California. That takes place August 28-30, 2026.
- Pokemon TCG new anniversary expansion is on the way and features Mew and Mew-Two.
- Pokemon Go 10th anniversary events planned, and the promo code GOTOURKALOS is live now to encounter one Pokemon.
- Pokemon Masters EX is getting Red (1996) with Pikachu, from FireRed and LeafGreen), as well as Florian and Ogerpon and Juliana and Terapagos. 3,000 Gems is being given away in a double anniversary event.
- Pokemon Cafe Remix gets first partner Pokemon with special badges, outfits, and cafe customizations.
- Pokemon Sleep gets new missions and Pokemon.
- Pokemon Unite gets Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres as playable characters, and there’s an event to unlock their Unite licenses. Feraligator, Meganium, and Typhlosion are also on the way.
- Pokemon TCG Live now gets Paldean Wonders booster packs and a login event with booster packs.
- Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness joins Switch 2 GameCube Classics in March 2026.
- Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen will be compatible with Pokemon Home “in the future.”
- Pokemon Champions is in the works for an April 2026 release.
- Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimensions DLC is available and Mega Garchomp Z will be available as a Mystery Gift today.
- Pokemon Pokopia features DJ Rotom character who can play CDs in-game and a Greedent named Chef Dente who can cook meals if provided with ingredients. Players can play hide-and-seek too.
- Pokemon Winds and Waves coming in 2027 to Switch 2.
