We are getting the first Nintendo Indie World showcase, which is essentially a Direct style presentation looking at Switch and Switch 2 games, on March 3, 2026. Nintendo confirmed it will be held at 6am PT/9am ET/3pm CET/11pm JST, with every region getting the showcase It also noted that only those “Nindies” will be discussed.
This is going to be a very short presentation, as Nintendo noted the stream will only spend about 15 minutes going over new and upcoming Switch and Switch 2 games. It did confirm both consoles will be covered. Placeholders are live in different regions on official YouTube channels. The North American and European showcases tend to be identical, but the Japanese ones tend to highlight some different titles and can be worth watching as well.
Here’s the US placeholder for the March 3, 2026 Nintendo Indie World Showcase.
It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen an Indie World presentation. The last one appeared in August 2025. There were three shadowdrop Switch and Switch 2 indie games that showed up that day. These were the compilation UFO 50, the logic puzzle game Is this Seat Taken, and the shop management simulation Tiny Bookshop. Of games that appeared that we could see updated, some are the upcoming Go-Go Town and Well Dweller.
The first Nintendo Indie World of 2026 will air at 6am PT/9am ET/3pm CET/11pm JST on March 3, 2026.
