Capcom announced that we’ll see Pragmata sooner than expected, as the release date now falls earlier in April 2026. Before, it was expected to launch on April 24, 2026. The Capcom spotlight confirmed we’ll now see it on April 17, 2026 instead. There’s also a new trailer that shows off additional locations in the game.
The company didn’t explain why the game will be out sooner, rather than later. It only noted that it decided to adjust the launch by one week. While the new footage did include some gameplay, it mainly focused on some additional moon locations we’ll visit with Hugh and Diana. We see the two of them flying over the lunar base, landing, then being attacked by enemies. Diana explained a moonquake caused damage to IDUS when they were going to prepare to head to Earth, causing the system to see the two as enemies. We see that, as a result of the two meeting, Diana decided to change what she wants out of life and decided that she wants to go to Earth with Hugh. The end of the video also teases the idea of some customization elements as the duo meets a robot named Cabin who helps with “Shelter.”
Here’s the new Pragmata “Main Trailer” video.
Pragmata will come to the Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on April 24, 2026, and a demo is available. A Diana amiibo will also be released and work with the Switch 2 version of the game.
