The Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy character trailer rollout continues, and Zidane from FFIX is the next featured unit. As usual, the video focuses on his appearance in the past before looking at his real-world look in the spin-off, new types of attacks, and possible role in the story.

The Zidane trailer starts by showing footage from the PS1 game of the character in cinematics and battle. Then, we see his more modern look and learn Romi Park is the Japanese voice actress playing him. She’s played the character in multiple Dissidia installments, and we also heard her as Bleach’s Toshiro Hitsugaya, Fullmetal Alchemist’s Edward Elric, and Persona’s Naoto Shirogane.

From there, the focus shifts to combat. After seeing some normal attacks, we get to watch his skills. He performs Swift Strike, Sleight of Hand, Trance, and Grand Lethal here.

You can see the full Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy Zidane character trailer below. It ends with a cinematic where he states, “And that’s exactly why people call us ‘ghosts.’ We disappear the second they see us.”

In case you missed some of the past trailers, here are all of the other characters Square Enix showed off so far.

Square Enix should share a trailer highlighting Rinoa Heartilly from FFVIII next.

Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy pre-registration is live, and the game is expected to debut in March 2026 debut on Android and Apple iOS mobile devices.
