Takara Tomy announced one of its next Pokemon gacha collections will involve digital Mega Stone watches. They are expected to debut in Japan in April 2026. Six styles will appear, and it will be 400円 (~$2.50) per try. There’s no worldwide release set.
This collection is designed to resemble the bands we see our avatar wear in games like Pokemon Legends: Z-A and other titles. In fact, all of the characters do appear in that game. The front of each of the watches shows the Mega Stone for the Pokemon, while the Mega Evolved form appears on the face of the watcha nd the band. Each watch is a digital one, and the band is about 9 inches long (23cm). The official page also confirmed you can replace the battery.
Here’s the full list of all the featured characters:
- Mega Charizard X
- Mega Gengar
- Mega Lucario
- Mega Mawile
- Mega Sableye
- Mega Tyranitar
And here’s the teaser image showing off all six styles.

This is the second recent run of gacha watches from Takara Tomy based on Nintendo properties in Japan. Earlier in 2026, there were Animal Crossing: New Horizons ones. These were based on characters from the game, showing them on the face and an icon tied to them on the cover. Those have also yet to appear outside of Japan.
The Pokemon Mega Stone watches will launch in Japan in capsule machines in April 2026, and Pokemon Legends: Z-A is available on the Switch and Switch 2 worldwide.
