Bandai Namco confirmed that two types of Ape Escape merchandise will appear in its US and Canadian Gashapon capsule machines, with the personal marker charm and Still Waiting for You figures appearing in March 2026. Due to the nature of these releases, we don’t have an exact date for when they’ll appear. We only know both will begin showing up this month. Likewise, prices are unavailable, but these machines tend to start at two coins per try (~$6).
Both of these series are based on the original Ape Escape game and feature references to the monkeys, though the personal marker charm also includes a Specter Coin. The charms have a lobster hook clasp at the top and are attached to an elastic band, so you could use it is a zipper pull or on a keychain or attach it to a bottle or umbrella. There are four Pipo Monkey options in various poses and with different color pants and helmets. In the case of the Still Waiting for You series two figures, which are designed to look like the characters are sitting and waiting for someone to return, there are four different Ape Escape monkeys. The charms are three centimeters long, while the figures are three and a half centimeters tall.

Most recently, we saw the characters from this series appear again in Metal Gear Solid Delta.
The Ape Escape personal marker charm and Still Waiting for You series two figures will start appearing in North America in March 2026. The last game in the series was PlayStation Move Ape Escape for the PS3.
